The other advantage is that fiber doesn't have such problems as we had in
my last company where between the ethernets in different rooms was a voltage
of about ~60V. Sometimes people got nice electroshocks ...
In the company before that (a power plant) voltage induced by working
generators made the RG58 cabeling unuseable; there was no other fix than
switching to fiber.
