Dual Ethernet Cards Under 2.02 - Problems

I've been running 2 ethernet cards under 1.2.8 just fine - upgraded
to kernel 2.0.2, installed new nettools and all the proper libraries
and now I can only get eth0 up - ifconfig shows both cards and proper
addresses but when I do a route add -net 192.0.0.95 it comes back with
SIOCADDRT: Invalid argument
