There were a set of reasons given, none of them OS specific but they will
affect Linux <-> Solaris2.4/5 as well as anything else so do get Solaris 2.5
boxes fixed ASAP . Judging by the bench figures I have here you'll probably
also get a suprisingly large portion of your network bandwidth back when you
do.
