This has been suggested on the new mailing list as well.
Personally, I see no reason why the design effort should be Linux-
specific.
Fortunately, the list already has a sufficiently neutral name (new-
networked-fs@cosy.sbg.at). All that remains is some sufficiently public
announcement so people know where to look, IMHO.
I don't know what would be appropriate places for BSD, though. For Linux
(yes, I think we need a "real" announcment for Linux, too), we could
consider c.o.l.announce, c.o.l.d.system, and some relevant vger lists
(going over the list should point out obvious candidates).
I don't know if a more general place (not Linux or BSD, that is) makes
sense.
Hmm. Maybe I should start archiving this thread, so I can prove, some
years later, that it was indeed my mail that started this super-duper new
net fs :-)
