screen freezes in X

Every once in awhile my screen freezes in fvwm. It can be made
functional by restarting fvwm (the menu option).

I am running kernel 2.0.8, P5-133, 96 MB RAM. This problem has been
around for all the 2.0 kernels I have tried.

Anyone else see the problem?

Any ideas about what to check when it happens?
