At my University, we have installed Linux 1.2.13 in a couple systems, but
always have the same problem:
While we install Linux, everything is perfect, it recognizes the CD-ROM,
in my case a MATSUSHITA CR-543B, while we boot with the boot & root disks.
I also have a Win95 partition, so, when we decide to install LILO from
Linux to enable the double selection from the OS/2 Boot Manager (3.0
Warp), the next time you start Linux it does not recognize the CD-ROM
(and never does again), not even when looking for it under the Linux SETUP.
This has happened in the three machines we have installed.
I have not tried, but I guess if you start from the disks, it will
probably recognize it.
Oh!, if you set it up manually in fstab, and try to mount it, it says
something like: ´Unable to use iso9660 standard´.
I hope not to offend you with this question if it is too stupid, any kind
of help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
