We run a news server here with a similar configuration. Its a P90 w/64MB,
and a NCR53c810 in it. No noticable problems.

This machine usually has >30 day uptimes before rebooting. This last
reboot was due to a disk crash (damn HP disks). This is a pretty reliable
configuration and we're using similar SCSI configurations across our entire
network (8 other machines). Note that all but our terminal server is now
running 2.0.8, which is the most stable that we've found in the 2.0.x
series. The terminal server is a 1.2.14(unofficial) as we had nothing but
problems with 2.0.x and Cyclades.
As with anything, YMMV, it seems.
