We have a Linux box with two ``3Com 3c595 Vortex 100baseTX'' It acts as a
bridge between two networks. Every now and then - a couple of days
between instances - the network interface(s) fall fast asleep after the
following errormessage:
Dec 10 17:26:05 bridge kernel: eth0: Infinite loop in interrupt, status
e011. Disabling functions (78ee).
Dec 11 01:14:38 bridge kernel: eth1: Infinite loop in interrupt, status
e011. Disabling functions (78ee).
Does anybody know what the errormessages mean? I have looked into
3c59x.c
And searched the net, but I am not quite sure how to decode the status
message.
Any hints about the significance of `78ee' and `e011' would be warmly
appreciated.
