100. Rememberering high school algebra,...
X = 99.9999....
Multiplying both sides by 10 gies
10X = 999.9999....
Subtracting the above from the first equation gives
10X - X = 999.9999... - 99.9999....
Which gives:
9X = 900
Dividing both sides by 9 gives
X = 100
Hence 99.99...... equals 100. No funny math needed.
