open sockets info in /proc

I have looked through the directories and files in the /proc FS and didn't
see anything about current open sockets. I thought I saw somewhere that
this data was shown there. Could someone point me in the right direction
(if it needs to be made, i'll give it a shot... but why re-invent the wheel
if I don't have to)
