Today, for the first (and only so far) time I got the message:

Ignoring P6 Local APIC Spurious Interrupt Bug

I saw it in entry.S and it seems to de in direct response to a
specific processor exception. I am not familiar with it and there
is no more info that I could find.

Can someone explain what it is? Is it OK to get it? Is it a CPU
problem of a chipset or what? Or is it not a problem at all?

I run 2.0.29 SMP (vanilla) on a Supermicro P6DNE dual PPro 200.

It's a bug in the P6 Local APIC that we have to work around. A spurious
interrupt sometimes gets delivered as an exception 15 rather than an interrupt
15.
