have an old 386 (640k)
I need to get it up to limping speed, so that I can test some hardware I'm
developing... Theres no way I'm putting any home-grown cards into my REAL
computer..... so its my 386 testing grounds...
I tried booting my standard kernel and it died b/c < 2mb of mem... but is
there a way to tell it do suck-up and deal with 640?
all I really need is to access the floppy, mfm drive, and read/write to
ports... and more than that is gravy...
