Not quite unique but very useful. The latest tulip sort of does this
anyway by keeping big sk_buff buffers around ready to use. Having a card
that can do this better will be nice.

This hack on the FDDI driver appears to be worth about 1.5 to 2Mbytes/second
from numbers I've been given
