No, but under a *typical* desktop load, with many processes, if you
don't have enough swap you are basically wasting expensive RAM to save
on cheap disk... A router is very different, since routing is a
kernel affair. Furthermore, you're probebly willing to pay a little
more so that you can run completely out of RAM, using a RAMdisk.
