Hi, all:
2.1.44 compiled and booted on my 486 fine
(with ext2 nfs and proc only).
The first problem I noticed:

[ildar@isas62 ildar]$ tar zxvf grafix-1.4.tgz
grafix1.4/window.c
tar: grafix1.4/window.c: Could not change access and modification times:
Permission denied
tar: grafix1.4/window.c: Cannot change mode to 0644: Permission denied
grafix1.4/window.h
tar: grafix1.4/window.h: Could not create file: Permission denied
....

makes it unusable though.
