for those of you who have system crashes as soona s 2.1.44 boots up
i feel for you, I myself have had somewhat better luck
I was able to get 2.1.44 booted and running
the only problem was, it was not executing any shell(s) for the user
it just stood there, intresting huh?

not even an oops or anything, syslog logged that i was on
