try the bottom of this page for the efsmod package, a loadable module that
will let you read efs in Linux 2.0.x
I have used it successfully on Linux 2.0.27-Linux 2.0.30. [Mounting the
quad speed IDE drive on the Intel Box using NFS was faster than the local
SCSI single-speed drive on the SGI Box].
Note this won't work on 2.1.x with all the dcache changes.
For that you might have to look into the SGI Linux project
(www.linux.sgi.com), because I assume they will have some sort of efs
driver for Linux eventually.
