Did a little more checking and found out that the hung lockd started
sometime
after kernel 2.1.55. Running Universal NFS Version 2.2Beta25 or
2.2Beta29
on a machime with the 2.1.55 kernel, all lockd process end with each
umount
as they should. Load average also remains normal.
