I forgot to also mention that you might try to reformat your Linux
partitions at the 1024 block size (default for DOS) and then reformatting
under DOS, OR if you have it on your root disk, just run fdformat on your
Linux partitions to reformat it for DOS. I am pretty sure you will find
this on Slackware's rescue disk.

This is about the best advice I can conjure up from me.
