Here are my questions:
1) Who do I talk to write the ptsname function is glibc? [kernel support
is only half the implementation.] I don't know who the glibc
development team is, or where they hang out. =)
2) Where should the device number for /dev/ptmx go?
I'd like to keep it with the other tty stuff, so I'm leaning towards
an allocation in character device major 5...
3) Lastly -- has this already been done? Should I bother?
