fat/vfat compile still broken

I applied the patches you posted to 2.1.79 and it still will not build.
There is a sizable cascade of errors, beginning with:

namei.c: storage size of sinfo isn't known

Would you be so kind as to recheck the baseline from which you are
generating the diffs? Something must be skewed..
