The onboard SCSI port cannot be disabled, but you should still be
able to use other SCSI cards with the P2L97.

Also, are you saying that Linux is the "One Ring" and is evil? Or is
this what MS is trying to do with NT? (Don't answer this one on the
list as it is highly flamable and is meant mostly as a joke and as a
chance to gain insight into what you really mean).

In other words, please respond privately about whether or not Asus tech
support was accurate or not as well as the query.
