Got stuck with 2 IBM PCServer 330's

With the onboard hardware RAID controller. They're
incredibly well build boxes, physically. The president
of the company "got a very good deal" on a pair of them,
and here they are, won't boot Linux, the aic7xxx driver,
version 5.0.4, says "unsupported adapter type", and the
PCI layer also says "unknown PCI device (1014:2e)".

i can enable the built-in secondary SCSI controller and
that'll probably work, but it sort of misses the point
of these RAID boxes.

My only alternatives are SCO or Solaris, neither of which
i'd really want to use for an ISP server.

Is anyone running these under Linux? How else might i start
down the road of getting Linux to run on these things?
Is there a hope in heaven of it?
