Yeps! That's my hope too. The thing's all on the motherboard
with no cables, but i'm still kinda hoping the AHA-7880 makes
it look like a regular SCSI device, and that there'll not be
much work involved in getting it recognized and working. i
can live with having to use the IBM software to set up the
RAID arrays, if i can use it under Linux.

But what do i know, it's IBM.

Can you or anyone else on the list tell me how i should
proceed on this one? It IS a beautifully put together box.

Doing that gives the expected results, if i put a hard disk
on the secondary SCSI, it'll bypass the RAID SCSI which it
doesn't recognize, and try to boot from the secondary SCSI,
an if i disable the secondary SCSI, the kernel panics from
not finding anything it knows.
