pre-2.1.91-1 lock

Just got a lock-up with pre-1 of 2.1.91. I was using X so I didn't see
any messages (and none made it to disk).

I was rm'ing a large directory at the same time as cp'ing another (from
one partition to another). It's a SCSI disk and the SCSI card is an
Adaptec 2940.

I used SysRq to reboot.
