Hello,

I'm running 2.1.93, and I have a K5 at 100MHz with a motherboard INTEL TRITON FX
At startup I have these messages:

PIIX: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 38
PIIX: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
PIIX: neither IDE port enabled (BIOS)
PIIX: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 39
PIIX: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
ide0: BM-DMA at 0x3000-0x3007, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:pio
ide1: BM-DMA at 0x3008-0x300f, BIOS settings: hdc:pio, hdd:pio
hda: st3144AT, ATA DISK drive
hdb: M2684TA, ATA DISK drive
hdc: WDC AC11200L, ATA DISK drive
hdd: IOMEGA ZIP 100 ATAPI, ATAPI FLOPPY drive

What means "not 100% native mode"?

thanks in advance,
Fausto
