2.1.90-94 bad news

Is it too late to ask that the bigphysarea patch be included in the
2.1-and-soon-to-be-2.2 kernel? I have found it highly useful (I do a
lot of image hardware) and would like to see it a regular part of the
kernel.

I would agree with leaving it configured off by default, if that would
help its chances.

I would also be willing to be listed as the maintainer if the original
authors do not feel up to it. I did the port to 2.1, and tested it on an
alpha: ftp://ftp.picturel.com/pub/source/bigphys-2.1.85.patch
