Help : ALS-007 configuration

Hello,

I have an ALS-007 sound card and I never succeeded to make it work
(it is said to be SB16-compatible and PnP), I'm using 2.0.29.

can someone tell me to which kernel should I upgrade and
which are the values to set in the config.
