midi works better in 2.1.95 than in 2.1.86 - ok, that's easy, it didn't
work at all then - but some apps encounter timitg problems more often. the
app will block and not react to user interaction. as the only thing i
changed was the kernel, i suppose it may block on some syscall for midi it
didn't block on before... or, rather, it may block longer thatn it did
before!
the harder problem is: the midi sound is extremely slow... and the timing
is not accurate - it changes speed in the middle of the play... :-(
but yes, there are certain improvements comapred to 2.1.86 - it didn't
work at all then.
