SB 16 PnP

Is it just me, or has anyone else had problem building sound as a module
in 2.1.94/5 ?? It works fine if I hard compile it into the kernel, but I
get NO sound if I do it as a module. When kmod gets a hold of it, it only
insmods sound, and never any of the other modules. And if I ismod them
manually, still no sound. I have an SB 16 PnP only card. Tried both with
native PnP stuff and isapnp, both to no avail. :(
