Hi!

Got the following message ewhile compiling v2.1.95
of the linux kernel

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/home/sysdata/v2.1.95/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes
-O6 -mamdk6 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -m486 -malign-loops
=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686 -c -o ncr53c8xx.o ncr53c8xx.c
cpp: output pipe has been closed
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 6
make[3]: *** [ncr53c8xx.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/sysdata/v2.1.95/linux/drivers/scsi'
make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/sysdata/v2.1.95/linux/drivers/scsi'
make[1]: *** [sub_dirs] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/sysdata/v2.1.95/linux/drivers'
make: *** [linuxsubdirs] Error 2
Command had non-zero exit status 2

while using v2.1.94 and v2.1.91 kernels as system for compiling

I use:
gcc version pgcc-2.91.16 980328 (gcc-2.8.0 release)
as compiler

My system is a AMD K6 based box with 64MB RAM (EDO) and a ABIT IT5H
motherboard. Fo a long time I haven't got things like this.

What happens here? Any "short dirty tricks" to avoid the problem, cause
I want to test the new kernel but I can't cause compiling
of my harddisc driver fails...

Thanks for any reply!

KEEP HACKING!
