Of special note in this patch are the following:
1. Under 2.1.x, this driver now attempts to support __sparc_v9__ and
__powerpc__ platforms.
2. This driver includes roughly six bug fixes which take the driver to only
one known bug remaining and that one remaining bug has work around code in
place until I can finally track it down. I should note though, this is not
an easy bug to reproduce, I have to completely hang a hard drive so much so
that the drive requires a complete powerdown cycle before I can reproduce
it, and then it only reproduces it sometimes. This type of drive hang
usually requires a Quantum Flakyball drive and a high queue depth before it
is ever triggered. Furthermore, since the conditions required to cause the
bug include completely loosing a drive until a complete power cycle is done,
your machine is going to be dead anyway and this bug, even without recovery
code, is pretty insignificant.
Under 2.0.33, I consider this to be a final release software (barring the
one bug). Under 2.1.95, it's close to final release, but awaiting word on
the support for big endian architectures such as sparc. Should there be a
problem with that support, then an update will be made for 2.1.x.
