It works for me 8-) Re: Linux-2.1.95..

I have made 64 Bonnie passes using a 1GB file size and 2.1.95 is solid,
no crashes or hangs. No other kernel with io-apic would even get past
one pass. The hardware is a P6DOF (dual PPro), three NCR 875 PCI
controllers each with three disks configured in an interleaved nine disk
md raid (striped). I boot from a BusLogic 545c and mount the nine disk
raid as root file system.

On account of the interleaving, accesses of sequential file blocks
tend to alternate among the different pci scsi cards so this is probably
a stringent test. The performance of the raid is at least as good as it
was with 2.1.77, possibly better (I haven't tested it on the sweet spots
of the disks just yet). Also, I haven't built the kernel with modules or
ethernet support but at least the disk subsystem seems to be healthy.
I think that 2.1.95 changes are positive in my case.
