Linus,

This update fixes some PCI problems, including interrupt sharing,
and several other minor bugs in the IDE driver.

It also makes the IDE stuff completely SMP aware/safe.

To test it, I added a "#define DEBUG_SPINLOCK" to spinlock.h,
which can be used to enforce correct spinlock use in a non-SMP kernel.

This found a couple of bugs in the IDE code, and could be used
to debug other drivers' problems as well.

When enabled, it complains about questionable spinlock semantics
in sched.c,signal.c, and I even saw one from buffer.c during a
system shutdown.

I left the code in, but set the #define to disable it by default.

Hope this is useful.
