2.1.95 spontaneous reboots

I have 2.1.95 installed on two different machines (identical hardware).
machine 1 - e-mail, web, news (fairly busy) SMP=1
machine 2 - File/Print (fairly quiet) SMP commented out
I have kmod configured but am not really using it (just a few misc modules
for testing -- modules weren't even installed on either machine).

machine 1 has been up for over 24 hours now with no problems.
machine 2 has rebooted itself three times:
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 22:51
reboot ~ Sat Apr 11 22:51
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 17:37
reboot ~ Sat Apr 11 17:37
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 12:10
reboot ~ Sat Apr 11 12:10
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 10:52
reboot ~ Sat Apr 11 10:52
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 07:56
reboot ~ Sat Apr 11 07:56
shutdown ~ Sat Apr 11 07:53
runlevel ~ Sat Apr 11 07:53

So, since the only noticeable diff between these two machine is the SMP flag
I have re-enabled it on machine 2 and if it reboots again it will start-up
with the new SMP-enabled kernel.

The only other diff is machine 2 is running RAID5, but, since the reboots
the RAID system isn't running so I somehow doubt that it is the culprit.

The logs show absolutely nothing. If this doesn't stabilize today I'll have
to go back to 2.1.89 (the last stable kernel I've been able to run on the
RAID box).
