There was one problem that I did observe in all 2.1 up to (including)
.93 that seems to be gone in .94 - there where processes sleeping
forever on tcp_recvmsg on `lo' interface (while their party processes
where long finished). I reported it a several days ago, now it is not
here.
The only problem I have on my system now is (lack of) opl3 interface. I
have ES1688 card and compile the driver as a module. Audio works, but
when I load opl3 module /dev/sequencer does not apper:
"open /dev/sequencer: No such device or address" After that, opl3
cannot be rmmod'ed:
# rmmod opl3
rmmod: opl3: Device or resource busy
used by field displays 1, and subsequent attempts to run playmidi yeld:
"open /dev/sequencer: Device or resource busy"
In the syslog, I am getting things like this:
Apr 13 04:03:31 pccross modprobe: Out of file handle
Apr 13 04:03:31 pccross modprobe: Out of file handle
Apr 13 04:03:31 pccross modprobe: Can't locate module synth0
(well, there is also no pci info in /proc but this is obvious and
hopefully will be fixed soon).
