PCI & ISA Plug'n'Play ID database?

I am looking for any databases of Intel Plug'n'Play ID
numbers and strings. I am mostly interested in the ISA and PCI
PnP ID's, but the serial and parallel port interfaces may be
interesting too. I am already aware of the material in
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/developr/drg/Plug-and-Play/ and the
/etc/pci.ids file distributed with pciutils.

Basically, I am trying to put together a scheme for adjusting
/etc/conf.modules and the X configuration from the PCI and
ISA Plug'n'Play ID's every time the system boots. Ideally, I would
like to be able to shut down a computer, change the video, networking
and scsi cards, and then boot it and have it continue to operate
as if it has always been using those cards.
