3000 fd patch question

I grabbed the updated 3000 fd patch for 2.0.34 from Alan Cox's Web
page, and tried to apply it to a virgin 2.0.34 source tree. It failed,
and badly. =-\

Has anyone got a working patch for 2.0.34? I just though I would
ask before doing it all by hand. =-)
