2.0.35 error

hi, 'not sure if this is the right list to send this, but
i will proceed anyway. i'm having trouble compiling the kernel.
i compiled 2 versions of it..one with nfsroot, bootp, and very
minimal features; the other, for the server, with the usual
settings on. the server kernel compiled flawlessly, however i
keep getting this error when doing the client:

can anyone help?
should more details be needed, i'd be happy to supply them.. thanks in
