alphs PC164
linux 2.1.111
egcs-2.91.51 19980714 (gcc2 ss-980609 experimental)

I have an ascend router on the other side of a DE450 ethernet card.
This has worked fine for every kernel I tried, up until 2.1.111.

205.158.226.53 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast.
205.158.226.53 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast.
205.158.226.53 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast.
[etc.]

.53 is the local address of my router. No packets get through. It looks
like it can't even arp it. I'm going to see if I can capture more details
about what is happening here.

Any ideas? Suggestions?
