Of course, this "problem" resulted in all sorts of processes being
randomly killed.
Is this bad memory, a problem with the new pppd, a kernel bug, a
fluke, or what?
Any advice would be much appreciated. This machine has been rock
solid for about a year, with uptimes > 90 days.
