I've been using Cyrix for about a year now, and have always been having
problem with lockups and 'instant reboots'. I stumbled across some info
that the upcomming 2.0.36 should have better Cyrix detection and bug
workaround, but so faar it doesn't work for me.

This is what /proc/cpuinfo tells me:

----- s n i p -----

And this is what 6x86_reg says:

----- s n i p -----

Now, I got a lot of info on the 'http://gwyn.tux.org/~balsa/linux/cyrix/index.html'
pages, and uses the 'rc.cyrix' at boot (the original one, since I didn't understand
much about what it does etc).

I still got the general protection, and a couple of minutes later, it freezes,
and the watchdog reboots the machine.

Sometimes, when I'm using X and Communicator, al of a sudden, I see the BIOS
starting to count and check the memmory! That's a fast reboot for ya'... :)

I'd surely would appreciate some assistence here, I'm getting a little to
many gray hairs about this, to be funny...
