Maybe it's just me, but I've found that once these cards are setup
correctly, they work fine.

I'm currently running a small network, with moderate amounts of traffic,
and have a combined uptime of around a couple of years, with no problems.

Running on:

2.0.34/2.0.30,
Ppro 166 (overclocked to 240) *4,
TXpro chipset 6x86/233MMX's *3,
AMD K6/233 TX*1.

Note, none of these are overclocking the bus.

cards are set as 0x270/ IRQ 5 or 10, mostly, apart from one set at 0x310,
as it did not like 0x270 for some reason, I suspect it's conflicting with
my soundcard for some reason (old AWE32, with many CD ports)

In some systems, you may need to try several times to get a working
setting.

These have been up and down maybe 20 times, without netcard problems.
I've also discovered that they can be hot-plugged, simply plug in the
card, while power is on, and then wait for it to reboot, and recognise
the card.
This is probably not the recommended method of installing, however I turned
the wrong PC off before installing...
card.

The setup program is on intel's site.
