Can UDMA mode be used under linux, and if so what needs to be done to make it
work.
Is there a reason that my hdd is giving me a timeout when I try to start
a kernel with the DMA mode on in it. Specifically Linux 2.1.115. It gives
that hda timeout period exceeded, and then sys IDE DMA mode disabled.
Or is ther a howto that might be more help to me. Thanks a bunch
Mark
