New version of my Logo Selection Patch. Changes:
*) Added the cpp macro INCLUDE_LINUX_LOGO256, moved LINUX_LOGO_COLORS
from the asm-*/linux_logo.h file to the linux/linux_logo_*.h file and
changed all asm-*/linux_logo.h files to make strict use of the
INCLUDE_LINUX_LOGO{256,16,BW} macros.
*) Moved Architecture specific Logos to the "public pool" of available
logos.
*) The patch works now with every architecture that supports boot logos.
*) Created an Archive of all logos in the JPG format at
linux/Documentation/bootlogos/.
The patch is available at <http://www.clifford.at/misc/>. The
uncompressed version is called "logo-select.patch-118a" - the bzip2
compressed one "logo-select.patch-118a.bz2". The archive of boot logos
is not included in the patches (becouse it's binary data). The file to
download them is called "logos-as-jpgs.tar.gz".
Please test the patch - specially if you have access to a non-intel
machine (it was not possible for me to test it on non-intel machines
since I don't have any :-).
Logo Designers: If you created a nice logo - please send it to me so I can
include it in the patch.
