I've found this really bizarre situation. After compiling 2.1.118,
certain motif apps no longer work. Tested are
Nedit 5.0 dynamic with lesstif
Nedit 4.0 staticly linked
wordperfect 8 (pre-release)
On each, I get the same error message
nedit.static: can't resolve symbol '_XSendClient_refix'
This all worked fine for 2.1.116, but I can't imagine that the kernel
could cause such a specific problem. However, the only change has been
the kernel.
Thanks,
jf
Oh, BTW... I'm also having problems with netscape occasionally giving
motif error. Which clears up after restarting the X server. Could this
be related?
