Well I didn't say you can't remove the original controller. Or, better,
make it so that on a command the i2c splits, and the output from
controller goes over two wires in your computer and other components
are connected to the other two inputs (I think parallel port can have up
to 4 I2c ports.. right ? 2 for certain). This may require a couple of
logic chips.
