Some of the newer UMC (?) I/O chips on motherboards can be clocked at 128k.
There is a linux utility to do this, but I can't remeber the url. If you
have an older motherboard or don't want to risk damaging parts on your mb,
you'll need the new serial card. Try www.byterunner.com, they have 16550
cards with deep fifo's that run at 256k, 460k & 920k.

Yes, it's called get a new serial port. They have enhanced ones that go
upto 256k or something like that..
