After being in 2.1, my 2.0 ppp stopped working too! No idea why.
I powered down completely, and have totally removed my ppp
configuration and completely set it all back up. I got ppp
working again in 2.0, and am right now using it in 2.1.x as well.
I have no idea what the problem was, but it appears to be fixed
now.
