RedHat delivers the 2.0.35 kernel complete with a module called misc/sb.o,
which I need in order to use my SB AWE64 card. Since I need to install the
patch for IP port forwarding, I got the 2.0.35 kernel source tree from
ftp.kernel.org. It does not appear to contain the sb.o module. I now have
IP port forwarding, but I no longer have an operational sound card. Is
sb.o supposed to be part of the kernel, or does RedHat get it from
somewhere else? Does anyone know what I have either done wrong or need to
do?
Thanks.
